The visit begins as the sun rises over the necropolis of Giza, the famous Egyptian site that houses the three great pyramids. In their long shadows, the silhouettes of mastabas appear—the tombs of those who were close to the deceased monarchs, their families.
You are not alone in traversing these millennia-old lands. Accompanied by a virtual guide and other travelers as real as you, you will start by walking the vast sands of the Giza Plateau to meet the Sphinx, before proceeding to the foot of the Great Pyramid of Khufu at nightfall for a VIP visit.
The immersive expedition The Horizon of Khufu was designed to be as accurate as possible.
The experience is the result of several years of research and data collection on-site, in partnership with Peter Der Manuelian, Professor of Egyptology, and his team at the Giza Project, Harvard University.
We aim to ensure that all the information provided in the experience is based on architectural, scientific, and historical data.
