Absolutely remarkable. I tried virtual reality immersion for the first time, and I was completely blown away; it felt incredibly real. On the advice of the staff, I chose Kheops, which was a huge success, and I understand why. The first part tells the story of the monument, the second recounts the women and men who brought it to life. The expedition was developed in collaboration with Peter Der Manuelian, professor of Egyptology at the university Harvard and director of Giza Project, as well as with Barbara Bell, a researcher specializing in the organization of ancient Egyptian construction sites. The expedition relies on the most recent archaeological discoveries, especially construction logs found at Ouadi el-Jarf — the oldest known papyri to date, which have revolutionized our understanding of the logistical organization of the builders 4,500 years ago. The lost ancient ports, the methods of transporting the stone blocks, the recently identified spaces inside the pyramid: every detail of the story is based on data validated by international research. It is this top-tier scientific backing that distinguishes The Builders' Treasure from mere entertaining immersion.
Can the experience cause dizziness?
The Builders' Treasure is an expedition mostly contemplative and exploratory, without great height or sudden movements: most visitors experience it without any discomfort. Unlike The Horizon of Cheops and Lost Worlds, This expedition does not have a moderate (SOFT) mode.If you are particularly sensitive to the effects of virtual reality or if you are discovering VR for the first time, do not hesitate to talk to our team upon your arrival: we will be able to advise you and, if necessary, direct you towards an expedition better suited to your profile.
