Nice, but you have to choose your trip carefully; Egypt is great, the dinosaurs not so great.

I came to try this virtual reality experience for the first time. The story is well done, and Mona guides you on the "Builders' Treasure" expedition. The tour is limited to groups of four, which allows plenty of space to admire the scenery and displays. My only slight complaint is that the headset felt quite heavy, which caused me neck pain after the 45-minute session. There was also a gap around my nose, so I couldn't fully enjoy the experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual reality immersion in Egypt. The experience was truly captivating, allowing you to discover the history, monuments, and atmosphere of ancient Egypt in a much more vivid way than a simple visit or a traditional video. Being immersed in the scenery gave the impression of traveling back in time. You could better appreciate the grandeur of the temples, pyramids, and Egyptian civilization. Virtual reality makes learning more interactive, more impactful, and above all, more accessible. I also appreciated the visual and immersive aspects of the experience: the details, the ambiance, and the sense of presence made the discovery very enjoyable. It's an original and modern way to engage with history while having a fun and impressive experience. In short, I really enjoyed this VR immersion in Egypt because it combines culture, technology, and emotion. It's an experience I recommend to anyone curious to discover Egypt in a new way.

A fantastic introduction to virtual reality with the Builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza scenario! The visuals are stunning and the immersion is very well done. The downsides: it's a bit pricey for 50 minutes of immersion, and the other visitors were particularly noisy, making it difficult to hear the headset's sound. I recommend visiting during the week to avoid the crowds.

Impressionism: a virtual reality tour of the 1874 Salon, guided by Rose, to meet Cézanne and Degas, Monet, Manet, and Zola, with virtual walks through the locations of their paintings. Absolutely moving! Extraordinary!

It's certainly expensive. But I loved the experience. I chose the less immersive mode because of my vertigo; the movements seem different to avoid unpleasant sensations. A truly fantastic experience. I've done Keops and I plan to go back.

Your questions about our experiences

We are currently working on the programming for the future Eclipso Paris center.

The experiences that will be offered there will be announced soon.

The virtual reality expedition lasts 45 minutes of immersionIncluding the welcome, the briefing with our teams, the VR headset setup, and the return to reality, expect approximately 1 hour 15 minutes on siteAn ideal format for a cultural outing in the 12th arrondissement, whether you come with family between two activities or to extend the afternoon at Bercy Village.

Yes, shipping is accessible from 8 years old and designed to be both spectacular and educational. Guided by the young biologist Charlie and his mischievous robot DarwinParticipants journey through nine geological eras—from the Cambrian to the present day—encountering over 120 recreated animal and 100 plant species. With no violent or frightening scenes, the narrative, co-created with the National Museum of Natural History, guides visitors of all ages through an accessible exploration of 3,5 billion years of life's evolution. An ideal family outing in Paris for a unique way to learn about Earth's history.

Yes. Lost Worlds offers a SOFT mode This technology mitigates certain movement effects within the virtual environment—particularly changes in height or rapid transitions between eras—to minimize feelings of vertigo while preserving the richness of the landscapes. Simply mention this to the team during the briefing. Our staff will also be present in the room throughout the expedition, and you can interrupt your immersion at any time if you wish.

The expedition was co-produced with the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, under the scientific direction of Bruno David, Guillaume Lecointre, Gaël Clément and Sylvain Charbonnier. More than 120 animal species and 100 plant species These landscapes have been reconstructed using research in paleontology, comparative anatomy, and paleohistology, with the support of specialized illustrators from the Paris Paleontology Research Center. Each landscape—from the Archean to the Carboniferous, from the Jurassic to the Eocene—is the result of rigorous scientific hypotheses. Experiencing the expedition in Paris, just a few kilometers from the Jardin des Plantes and the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, naturally extends the tradition of French natural history excellence embodied for four centuries by the Museum.

Absolutely. Eclipso Paris offers five immersive expeditionsAnd Lost Worlds lends itself particularly well to a series thanks to its contemplative format. After traveling back 3,5 billion years, extend the scientific adventure with The Secret of the Pyramid Builders on the construction site of the Great Pyramid of Giza, or Horizon of Khufu to explore the completed pyramid. To radically change your world, continue with An Evening with the Impressionists in Paris in 1874, or The Last Ramparts – Carcassonne 1304 To experience a medieval siege, book two consecutive time slots online, or check availability at the Bercy Village reception desk.

Lost Worlds was born from a direct scientific partnership with the National Museum of Natural History, a Parisian institution founded in 1793 and now spread across the Jardin des Plantes, the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, the Galerie de Paléontologie, and the Musée de l'Homme. Experiencing the expedition at Eclipso Paris takes on a special dimension: you are in the very city where the experiment was designed, just a few metro stops from the collections that inspired his scientific rigor. Where a classic visit to the Museum places you face to face with fossils and static reconstructions, the expedition transports into the paleolandscapes themselves — you walk among the giant insects of the Carboniferous period, you observe the triceratops of the Cretaceous period, you climb to the canopy of the Messel forest. This is not a substitute for the Museum: it is its immersive extension, designed to experience from the inside what the display cases have always told us.
