Absolutely remarkable. I tried virtual reality immersion for the first time, and I was completely blown away; it felt incredibly real. On the advice of the staff, I chose Kheops, which was a huge success, and I understand why. I can't wait to come back and try the other themes; I think I'll do them all because I loved the experience so much. A big thank you to the Eclipso team who welcomed me with smiles, kindness, and great professionalism.

I visited the ISS, and I thought the experience was amazing. The best part was going out into space and watching the Earth go by. Also, when the astronauts arrive, you're right there with them; it's really immersive. 👍

Fourth exhibit, the ISS exhibit. Absolutely incredible, a total immersion with real videos of astronauts on the space station, even better than a created imaginary world. A huge thank you to Emma for her warm welcome and enthusiasm. We'll be back.

Your questions about our experiences

The virtual reality expedition lasts 40 minutes of immersion — which is slightly less than our other experiences, which last 45 minutes. Including the welcome by our team, the briefing before putting on the VR headset, and the return to reality, allow approximately 1 hour on site rue Saint-Sernin. An ideal format to fit into a day in Bordeaux, whether it's a date, a cultural moment shared with family or an afternoon with friends extended by a drink in the historic centre.

Not at all. The shipment is designed as a fully accessible immersive storyThis experience is accessible even to those with no prior knowledge of art history. You can wander freely through the streets of Paris in April 1874, encountering artists in their studios and cafés, and witnessing the discussions and tensions surrounding the birth of an artistic movement still unknown to the general public. The narrative guides you naturally, without jargon or prerequisites. Many visitors leave wanting to learn more about Monet, Renoir, Degas, or Morisot—it is, above all, an expedition of wonder and discovery.

Yes. The shipment is accessible from 8 years old and offers a wonderful gateway to art history for young visitors. The narrative, based on free exploration, storytelling, and visual discovery, immerses children and teenagers in the daily lives of painters who became world-famous. It's an opportunity to spark the curiosity of an audience that wouldn't spontaneously enter an art museum, directly linking to school curricula for visual arts and 19th-century history. An excellent excuse, after your visit, to go and see works from this period at Museum of Fine Arts of Bordeaux, a few minutes' walk from the Eclipso center.

The expedition was born from a co-production with the Musée d'Orsay, a world-renowned institution on Impressionism, which houses the world's largest collection of works from this period. The scientific direction was provided by Sylvie Patry et Anne Robbins, two curators renowned specialists in the Impressionist movement. The studios, the cafés, the streets of Paris in 1874, the works in progress: every detail is based on archives, correspondence and period sources, in a demanding approach to cultural restitution. It is this leading institutional endorsement that distinguishes An Evening with the Impressionists from a simple virtual visit, and that makes it an authentic cultural expedition.

An Evening with the Impressionists is probably the gentlest shipping in our catalogThere are no high passages, no sudden movements, no destabilizing effects: it is a contemplative stroll through a reconstructed Paris, at eye level, in a peaceful and luminous atmosphere. No SOFT mode is required Regarding this expedition—the very universe of the story doesn't lend itself to thrills. This is also why we often recommend it to visitors who are discovering virtual reality for the first time, or to those who have already felt uncomfortable with other VR experiences.

For the best possible visit conditions, choose the following time slots. weekdays between 16pm and 18pm, or on weekends between 12pm and 14pmThese times generally avoid peak periods and allow for a more comfortable immersion. A suggestion particularly suited to this contemplative expedition, which takes on its full value in a calm atmosphere—conducive to letting oneself be carried away, without haste, by the colors and lights of Impressionist Paris.
