An incredible experience that immerses you in the world of this underwater mining operation. The addition of artificial intelligence to transport you back to the time of the Titanic was a brilliant idea. The route is very safe. And kudos to the team: a very professional and attentive welcome that enhanced this very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back for other experiences like the journey into space.

Excellent and very immersive experience. You really feel like you're inside the International Space Station. You can even go outside and get breathtaking views of Earth and space. It feels like you've spent an hour there.

Today we did all three immersive experiences, all very interesting, three completely different but very engaging worlds. Amazing experience, it left me feeling emotional and amazed. I took the Titanic excursion and after a few minutes of adjustment, I really believed I was there. Even for those who aren't used to VR, it's easy to get used to and I didn't get a headache at all.

What will I experience during the Colosseum experience?
You journey through Imperial Rome as Caius, a ten-year-old Roman boy. Markets, temples, ancient alleyways, and the imposing silhouette of the Colosseum unfold around you. Flamma, a former slave turned legendary gladiator—pardoned by the emperor after 34 victorious fights—guides you through the arena's underground tunnels to the triumphant arrival amidst the cheers of 80,000 spectators. 35 minutes of total immersion.
Is this experiment historically accurate?
The reconstruction is based on several years of research conducted with the Small studio. The architecture of the Colosseum, the layout of the hypogea, the costumes of the citizens and gladiators: every element has been documented. Benjamin Auriche and Jean Dellac wrote the script, Frédéric Bussière was the art director, and Excurio co-produced it. This approach brings the experience closer to a true museum project.
Are gladiatorial combats violent or shocking?
The arena battles are staged with their dramatic intensity—the roar of the crowds, the tension of the duels—but without graphic violence or shocking scenes. The approach is to create a sensory immersion accessible to all. If you or a child have any questions, our team can provide information before you enter the theater.
Is the experience suitable for children?
Absolutely. The minimum age is set at 8 years old, and the narration, adopting the perspective of young Caius, makes the experience particularly engaging for children and teenagers. It's an ideal format for classes from elementary to high school, in connection with ancient history curricula. Adult supervision is required throughout the experience.
How long does the Colosseum experience in Lille last?
Allow 35 minutes for the immersion itself, and approximately 50 minutes in total including the welcome, briefing, and equipment fitting. For a smooth start, please arrive at the Les Tanneurs Shopping Centre 10 to 15 minutes early.
What languages are available for Colisée in Lille?
You can experience the Colosseum in French, English, and Spanish. You can choose your language when booking or upon arrival at the center.
