They have traveled through millions of years… without leaving Nantes.
An excellent immersive experience that allowed us to discover the history, remains, and reconstructions of the Titanic in a captivating and engaging way. The instructions were clear and the welcome was pleasant.
Even 3.5 stars for ISS, good immersion, just subtitles throughout in the original version. While watching, you don't pay attention to the surroundings, you miss important things, and it's also annoying for children (12 years old). It would be interesting to know if the other themes are also subtitled.
This experience was incredible and I'd do it again. There are so many magnificent and very realistic things. But the visit is too short.
The setting is pleasant and the team is attentive. The new ISS experience transports us into the world of astronomy with real images filmed inside the ISS. A truly wonderful discovery!
The environment has evolved nicely since my first experience in Bordeaux two years ago.

What will we experience during Colosseum — The Arena of Legend?
You embody the perspective of Caius, a ten-year-old Roman boy, and journey through 80st-century Rome: its bustling markets, its majestic temples, and the immense shadow of the Colosseum. Guided by the voice of Flamma—a slave who became a legendary gladiator, pardoned by the emperor after 34 fights—you explore the arena's backstage areas, its underground passages, and then ascend to the light to experience the spectacle before 000 spectators. A 35-minute immersion into the heart of one of the most mythical places of Antiquity.
Is this experiment historically accurate?
Yes. Every detail—from the stands to the tombs, from the citizens to the gladiators—has been meticulously recreated through years of creative research, in collaboration with the studio Small. Authors Benjamin Auriche and Jean Dellac, under the creative direction of Frédéric Bussière, have crafted a narrative that blends historical accuracy with cutting-edge technology. The experience is produced by Small Creative, a leading European provider of virtual reality cultural experiences.
Are gladiatorial combats violent or shocking?
The experience recreates the atmosphere and intensity of the Colosseum games, with the ferocity of the battles and the roar of the crowd. It is designed to be immersive and accessible to the general public, without explicitly violent content. If you have any questions, our team is available at reception to advise you before entering the theater.
Is the experience suitable for children?
Yes, the experience is suitable for children aged 8 and up. The story is told from the perspective of a Roman child, making it a particularly engaging experience for young visitors. Children must remain under adult supervision throughout the entire experience.
How long does the Colosseum experience in Nantes last?
The immersion lasts 35 minutes. Including the welcome, briefing, and equipment fitting, please allow approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour for your entire experience. We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow ample time for preparation.
Is the Colosseum experience suitable for children?
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and up. Told from the perspective of Caius, a Roman child, it proves particularly engaging for young visitors and is ideal for a family outing or birthday party. Children must remain under the supervision of an accompanying adult throughout the visit, including during the immersive experience.
Is the experience suitable for people prone to vertigo?
Colosseum — The Legendary Arena We do not offer a gentle mode of transport. If you are particularly prone to dizziness or motion sickness, please inform reception: our team will be able to advise you before departure. You can interrupt the dive at any time without disturbing other participants, and our monitoring team is present in the room throughout the entire experience.
In which languages is the Colosseum experience available in Nantes?
The expedition is offered in French, English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The language selection is made just before the start of the immersion.
I can also visit the Titanic in Nantes: can I do both experiences on the same day?
Yes. Eclipso Nantes offers two expeditions — Colosseum — The Legendary Arena et Titanic — The Sunken Dream — which you can experience on the same day by booking two consecutive slots, subject to availability. Two journeys, two eras, two very different atmospheres: many visitors choose to make the round trip to extend their exploration.
Is the experience suitable for a group, a company outing, or a birthday?
Absolutely. Colosseum — The Legendary Arena The experience is best enjoyed in a group setting, in the shared immersion room which can accommodate up to 36 people simultaneously in Nantes. This format is particularly well-suited to outings with friends, birthday parties (for ages 8 and up), corporate events, and seminars—the spectacular Colosseum works very well in a group setting. For group bookings or private events, please contact the center directly.
Is it possible to take photos during the experiment?
Photos and videos are permitted before and after the immersion, for personal use. Recording is not allowed during the experience itself, out of respect for the immersion of other participants and for your safety. Remember to tag us on social media: @eclipso_nantes.
