I came to try this virtual reality experience for the first time. The story is well done, and Mona guides you on the "Builders' Treasure" expedition. The tour is limited to groups of four, which allows plenty of space to admire the scenery and displays. My only slight complaint is that the headset felt quite heavy, which caused me neck pain after the 45-minute session. There was also a gap around my nose, so I couldn't fully enjoy the experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual reality immersion in Egypt. The experience was truly captivating, allowing you to discover the history, monuments, and atmosphere of ancient Egypt in a much more vivid way than a simple visit or a traditional video. Being immersed in the scenery gave the impression of traveling back in time. You could better appreciate the grandeur of the temples, pyramids, and Egyptian civilization. Virtual reality makes learning more interactive, more impactful, and above all, more accessible. I also appreciated the visual and immersive aspects of the experience: the details, the ambiance, and the sense of presence made the discovery very enjoyable. It's an original and modern way to engage with history while having a fun and impressive experience. In short, I really enjoyed this VR immersion in Egypt because it combines culture, technology, and emotion. It's an experience I recommend to anyone curious to discover Egypt in a new way.

A fantastic introduction to virtual reality with the Builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza scenario! The visuals are stunning and the immersion is very well done. The downsides: it's a bit pricey for 50 minutes of immersion, and the other visitors were particularly noisy, making it difficult to hear the headset's sound. I recommend visiting during the week to avoid the crowds.

Impressionism: a virtual reality tour of the 1874 Salon, guided by Rose, to meet Cézanne and Degas, Monet, Manet, and Zola, with virtual walks through the locations of their paintings. Absolutely moving! Extraordinary!
It's certainly expensive. But I loved the experience. I chose the less immersive mode because of my vertigo; the movements seem different to avoid unpleasant sensations. A truly fantastic experience. I've done Keops and I plan to go back.
A fun experience; I did it with my children and also as part of a professional event. The sets and themes are well-designed, and the duration is long enough to fully enjoy it. However, we did get dizzy after wearing the VR headset for a while.

From a narrative point of view, the balance between historical facts and fiction has been carefully crafted in order to best recreate the tensions of the winter of 1304, marked by the arrival of Philip the Fair. From spectator, you become an actor in a key chapter of History.
I enjoyed imagining with the artistic teams and 3D designers of Excurio this living fresco which depicts with unprecedented richness of detail the daily life of the medieval city at the height of its fortifications.

Does the Last Walls experience contain violent or frightening scenes?
No. Although the story is set against the backdrop of a 14th-century royal siege, the expedition does not include No graphic fight scenes or violent contentYou will discover the daily life of the city of Carcassonne on the eve of the battle: the preparations of the inhabitants, the bustle of the market, the conversations on the ramparts, the gradual rise in tensions. The atmosphere is immersive and emotionally charged, yet remains fully accessible to children aged 8 and up accompanied by an adult, as well as to those who are sensitive to such themes.
Is Les Derniers Remparts suitable for school trips to Paris?
Absolutely. The expedition fits perfectly within the history curricula for cycle 3, middle school and high school Capetian France, medieval society, royal fortifications, the political role of Philip the Fair in the 14th century. A co-production with the National Monuments Center —whose headquarters are located a few metro stops from Eclipso Paris, in the Hôtel de Sully in the Marais district — guarantees the accuracy of the historical content. The free exploration format, wandering through the narrow streets and climbing the ramparts, transforms learning into a living experience. Who designed the Last Walls experience?
The expedition is a a co-production between Excurio and the Centre des monuments nationaux, the French institution responsible for preserving and promoting nearly 100 historical monuments — including the Château and ramparts of the Cité de Carcassonne. Editorial and scientific direction was provided by Amancio Requena, deputy administrator of the monument, and Mathilde Bessieux (CMN), with contributions from Nicolas Faucherre, professor at Aix-Marseille University and specialist in medieval fortifications, and Jean Blanc from the Aude Departmental Archives. Each reconstruction — from the cobbled alleyways to the curtain walls, from the houses to the watchtowers — is based on archival and archaeological sources validated by these experts.
Can the Last Walls experience cause dizziness?
The expedition includes a climbing onto the city walls which can generate sensations of height in virtual reality. Unlike The Horizon of Khéops and Lost Worlds, the SOFT mode is not available in The Last Walls. It is therefore best to be informed of this particularity before booking if you are particularly sensitive. Our team remains present in the room throughout the immersion to assist you, and you can interrupt the shipment at any time If you feel uncomfortable, without disturbing the other participants, please don't hesitate to speak to the reception desk before the session begins to receive our advice.

The story of the Last Walls is above all a Parisian storyIt was from Paris, from the royal city of Philip IV the Fair, that the political and military decisions which transformed Carcassonne originated at the beginning of the 14th century. Furthermore, the The Centre des monuments nationaux, co-producer of the expedition, is headquartered at the Hôtel de Sully in the Marais district., about ten minutes from Bercy Village. Paris is also the city of Viollet-le-Duc, architect of the restoration of Carcassonne in the 19th century before becoming the architect of Notre-Dame.
