I came to try this virtual reality experience for the first time. The story is well done, and Mona guides you on the "Builders' Treasure" expedition. The tour is limited to groups of four, which allows plenty of space to admire the scenery and displays. My only slight complaint is that the headset felt quite heavy, which caused me neck pain after the 45-minute session. There was also a gap around my nose, so I couldn't fully enjoy the experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual reality immersion in Egypt. The experience was truly captivating, allowing you to discover the history, monuments, and atmosphere of ancient Egypt in a much more vivid way than a simple visit or a traditional video. Being immersed in the scenery gave the impression of traveling back in time. You could better appreciate the grandeur of the temples, pyramids, and Egyptian civilization. Virtual reality makes learning more interactive, more impactful, and above all, more accessible. I also appreciated the visual and immersive aspects of the experience: the details, the ambiance, and the sense of presence made the discovery very enjoyable. It's an original and modern way to engage with history while having a fun and impressive experience. In short, I really enjoyed this VR immersion in Egypt because it combines culture, technology, and emotion. It's an experience I recommend to anyone curious to discover Egypt in a new way.

A fantastic introduction to virtual reality with the Builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza scenario! The visuals are stunning and the immersion is very well done. The downsides: it's a bit pricey for 50 minutes of immersion, and the other visitors were particularly noisy, making it difficult to hear the headset's sound. I recommend visiting during the week to avoid the crowds.

Impressionism: a virtual reality tour of the 1874 Salon, guided by Rose, to meet Cézanne and Degas, Monet, Manet, and Zola, with virtual walks through the locations of their paintings. Absolutely moving! Extraordinary!

It's certainly expensive. But I loved the experience. I chose the less immersive mode because of my vertigo; the movements seem different to avoid unpleasant sensations. A truly fantastic experience. I've done Keops and I plan to go back.

A fun experience; I did it with my children and also as part of a professional event. The sets and themes are well-designed, and the duration is long enough to fully enjoy it. However, we did get dizzy after wearing the VR headset for a while.

Your questions about L'Horizon de Khéops in Paris

We are currently working on the programming for the future Eclipso Paris center.

The experiences that will be offered there will be announced soon.

The virtual reality expedition is experienced in 45 minutes of immersionIncluding the welcome, the briefing with our teams, the VR headset setup, and the return to reality, expect approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in total on site. A short but intense experience, designed to transport you 4,500 years back in time without interruption.

The expedition was developed in partnership with Peter Der Manuelian, professor of Egyptology at Harvard Universityand draws on the latest archaeological discoveries, including the recent identification of a previously unknown cavity within the pyramid through muography. Every detail of the chambers, corridors, and funerary architecture has been reconstructed from surveys validated by international research. It is this rigor that makes Khéops a true cultural expedition—at the crossroads of the French Egyptological heritage, from Champollion to the Louvre collections, and contemporary research.

Yes. The shipment is accessible from 8 years old Designed to spark the curiosity of both children and adults, this tour features no violent or frightening scenes: the narrative guides each participant through the passages, chambers, and mysteries of the Great Pyramid with clear and immersive storytelling. It's the perfect family outing in Paris for sharing a rich cultural experience, far removed from traditional school-based activities.

Yes. The Horizon of Khéops offers a SOFT mode This technology mitigates certain movement effects within the virtual environment, minimizing feelings of vertigo while preserving the immersive experience. Simply inform the team during the briefing so they can configure your headset. Our team will also remain in the room throughout the entire expedition—you can pause your immersion at any time if needed.

Both expeditions transport you to ancient Egypt, but from two very distinct angles. Horizon of Khufu takes you inside the Great Pyramid to explore its secret chambers and forgotten passages — a contemplative immersion, as close as possible to the pharaonic mystery. The Secret of the Pyramid Builders It takes you outside, to the monumental construction site of the pyramid during its building phase, alongside the workers and architects of Pharaoh. One explores the finished product, the other recounts the human epic that made it possible. Both are available at Eclipso Paris and complement each other perfectly.

Absolutely, and we recommend it. Eclipso Paris offers five immersive expeditions which you can combine according to your wishes: after Khéops, extend the journey through time with An Evening with the Impressionists for a stroll through Paris in 1874 alongside Monet and Renoir, or with The Last Ramparts – Carcassonne 1304 to experience a medieval siege. You can also follow up with Life Chronicles ou The Secret of the Pyramid BuildersSimply book two consecutive time slots online, or check availability directly at the reception desk of the Bercy Village centre.

The immersive offering in Paris is rich, and that is precisely what makes our positioning clear. The Horizon of Khéops is not a virtual reality game nor a passive 360° projection : it's a cultural expedition where you move freely within the pyramid, in a group, across a dedicated area of several hundred square meters. The expedition was co-developed with Harvard, is based on scientific data validated by international research, and is part of the French tradition of excellence in Egyptology. It is neither an arcade nor a show—it is a 45-minute journey through a UNESCO World Heritage monument, reconstructed as closely as possible to its archaeological reality.
