The Parisians loved it!
They traveled through millions of years… without leaving Paris.
I've already had three experiences, alone or with friends. The most successful was in Carcassonne. I highly recommend this experience. The team is welcoming and professional.
Impressionism: a virtual reality tour of the 1874 Salon, guided by Rose, to meet Cézanne and Degas, Monet, Manet, and Zola, with virtual walks through the locations of their paintings. Absolutely moving! Extraordinary!
It's certainly expensive. But I loved the experience. I chose the less immersive mode because of my vertigo; the movements seem different to avoid unpleasant sensations. A truly fantastic experience. I've done Keops and I plan to go back.
A fun experience; I did it with my children and also as part of a professional event. The sets and themes are well-designed, and the duration is long enough to fully enjoy it. However, we did get dizzy after wearing the VR headset for a while.
A very immersive experience, despite some technical issues with the headsets at the beginning and middle of the adventure.
Still immersive despite a few technical issues (including a headset that wasn't sufficiently charged). When will there be new experiences?
VR The Treasure of the Builders, in the footsteps of Egyptian genius: We were very well received and the experience was incredible.
A birthday present from my sweetheart and a first for both of us in the world of virtual reality. What a wonderful surprise! The team and welcome were fantastic! 😉👍 The immersion was total and truly impressive!! We already want to do it again very soon 😁 I recommend it 100%!!
Absolutely superb! I went to Carcassonne with a friend, we had a fantastic time, the welcome was super professional, the rules were clear and simple, and we really enjoyed the relaxation room afterwards!! Perfect for unwinding with food and everything else, honestly 5/5 (I hope you enjoyed the somersaults too!!)
An incredible and very realistic experience, even though the photo booth was broken.
KHEOPS: A very good experience. Immersive, high-quality, and interesting! The staff was very welcoming! It's extremely well-organized. There's a locker to leave your belongings. An extra 10 minutes would have been nice, but it's already fantastic and comprehensive. You can have a snack or light meal there and relax afterwards in the chill-out lounge. The price is a bit high, but worth it. It's a shame you can't download the photo you take at the entrance. You can only print it (€10).
Booking made, we'll see what happens tomorrow. However, be careful, the prices are misleading. It's not €17 as indicated on Google Maps, and it's not €25 as advertised on the website. It's €32 per person, but for a group of 4, the price per person drops to €25. The method seems questionable to me; we'll see what happens tomorrow, but at €64 for 2 people, I hope it'll be fun. Edit: After trying it out, it's not bad, now is the price justified? We're immersed in the world of the Impressionists. First observation through the headset: the image is slightly blurry. Otherwise, the immersion is cool, very interesting. There are quite a few people, so you have to manage those around you, which can break the immersion a little. But the hour goes by quickly, you don't get bored. In a group of 4 at €25 each it's really good, solo at €32 it's immediately less worthwhile
Virtual reality show. Good, entertaining experience: it's very well done. We saw "Treasure of the Builders on Egypt," and the time flew by. The staff is friendly and efficient. Quite expensive, but there might be discounts or reduced rates (we didn't look).

Your questions about our experiences
How long does the "An Evening with the Impressionists in Paris" experience last?
The virtual reality expedition lasts 40 minutes of immersion — which is slightly less than our other expeditions. Including the welcome, the briefing with our teams, the VR headset setup, and the return to reality, expect approximately 1 hour on siteAn ideal format to fit into a Parisian outing, whether you come as a couple, with family or with friends: you have plenty of time to follow up with lunch at Bercy Village, a screening at the UGC Ciné Cité cinema or a visit to the Musée d'Orsay in the afternoon.
Do you need to be familiar with Impressionism to appreciate the experience?
Not at all. The shipment is designed as a fully accessible immersive storyThis experience is accessible even to those with no prior knowledge of art history. You wander freely through the streets of Paris one April evening in 1874, encountering artists in their studios and cafés, and witnessing the discussions and tensions surrounding the birth of an artistic movement still unknown to the general public. The narrative guides you naturally, without jargon or prerequisites. Many visitors leave with a desire to learn more about Monet, Renoir, Degas, and Morisot—it is, above all, an expedition of wonder and discovery.
Is An Evening with the Impressionists suitable for children?
Yes, shipping is accessible from 8 years oldIts narrative and visual format—the wonder of an era, the discovery of artists' studios, the colors and light of 1874 Paris—captivates children, teenagers, and adults alike. For families, it's an ideal cultural outing in Paris, gentle and accessible, that inspires them to then see the works "in real life" at the Musée d'Orsay or the Orangerie. No violent scenes, no shocking moments: it's the most contemplative experience in our catalog.
Who designed the experiment and what sources is it based on?
The expedition is a a co-production between Excurio, Gédéon Expériences and the Musée d'Orsay — the Parisian institution that houses the world's largest collection of Impressionist works. The scientific direction has been entrusted to Sylvie Patry, former chief curator of the Musée d'Orsay, and to Anne Robbins, curator at the Musée d'Orsay, two leading specialists in Impressionism. Each recreated location (studios, streets, interiors), each work depicted in the process of creation, each exchange between artists is based on historical sources and works now held in French public collections. It is this rigor that distinguishes the expedition from a simple immersive projection: it is a true journey through art history, validated by the foremost specialists in the field.
Can the experience cause dizziness?
No, or very rarely. An Evening with the Impressionists is the most contemplative expedition in the Eclipso catalogue There are no jumps, no sudden movements, and no rapid transitions. You wander through the streets of Paris and the interiors of workshops at your own pace, at eye level, in a soft and luminous visual environment. This makes it a particularly suitable experience for those new to virtual reality, those apprehensive about VR, or those who haven't enjoyed other VR experiences in the past. Our team remains present in the room, and you can interrupt your immersion at any time if you wish.
Can you follow up "An Evening with the Impressionists" with another experience at Eclipso Paris?

What are the least crowded time slots to experience An Evening with the Impressionists at Eclipso Paris?
To fully appreciate the contemplative pace of the expedition and observe the details of the paintings in progress, we recommend the weekday slots between 16pm and 18pm, Or weekend between 10am and 11am et between 18h and 20hThese quieter time slots offer a particularly pleasant immersion, appreciated by art lovers, couples, and seniors who wish to take the time to soak up the atmosphere. A lovely way to begin or end a day of cultural exploration in Paris—especially since you can then reach the Musée d'Orsay in 15 minutes by public transport.
Why experience an evening with the Impressionists in Paris, the very city where the story takes place?
This is where the expedition takes on its full meaning. An Evening with the Impressionists literally takes place in ParisOne evening in April 1874, in the streets and studios surrounding the first exhibition of the Impressionist movement at the photographer Nadar's studio on the Boulevard des Capucines. To experience the expedition to Eclipso Paris is to find oneself in the very city where the story takes place — just a few subway stops from the places that gave birth to Impressionism. It's also a unique opportunity to extend the expedition with a 15-minute transfer to the Musée d'Orsay, co-producer of the experience, to see "in real life" the works that you have seen born before your eyes: the a ball at the Moulin de la Galette by Renoir, Waterlilies Monet's dancers, Degas's dancers.
